"We met once when you played golf with my Dad. You served together in Vietnam. He made it back to us. I'm saying goodbye," stated a note written on yellow notebook paper addressed to Major Shaw.
Today there are thousands of moments to just pause and remember those who fought to defend our country and did not return from war and those who were welcomed home........... take just a few of them to remember.
