Here kitty

Liza Eldred, her daughter and her daughter's friend found an injured cat on U S 98 in Baldwin County AL last Saturday. They did what many people are moved to do by an injured animal, they wrapped it in a sweatshirt and drove it to an animal hospital. On the ride to the hospital they became concerned because it wasn't moving or making a sound. They stopped and her daughter's friend moved into the back seat to keep an eye one.

They were in " a lot of danger," according to Veterinarian Andy Duke.

The women were extremely lucky to escape injury because the kitty with a broken paw they drove to the hospital was no ordinary kitty, it was undersized, young bobcat. Duke's staff has named the 11 pound, approximately 10 to 12 month old bobcat, Bobbi. Veterinarian Laura Serio, who treated the bobcat at the clinic said on Monday that the she was doing well and she expects that she will recover well in the wild.

Bobcat's typically grow to be about 35 pounds and at 11 pounds, she was about the size of a housecat.... the big spots and bob tail should have been a clue that this kitty didn't grow up eating "Meow Mix".
