On Saturday, September 8 2007, a 24 year-old St Paul Minnisota woman was leaving work at aproximately 1 am. Police state that it was then that she was approached by a man intent on robbing her.
The man demanded her keys and her cell phone and then, the robbery took a bit of a strange turn. He then took off her shoes and licked her toes. I am not quite sure how that would work and why, if the man was somewhere low enough to her feet to lick her toes, why she didn't make a run for it.
The police said that the man was arrested a few minutes later, about four blocks away from the scene of the crime and they recovered her keys and phone. The woman wasn't hurt in the incident and the man is now in custody but he has not been charged yet.
Commander Kevin Casper stated that the crime looked to be "weird sexual behavior." It may be that but I would think that next time this man has the "urge" to lick toes, he would find someone willing to participate, just to avoid further arrests.
